What's going on?I've been tinkering most of my life. It started in my preteen years. I hadn't discovered cars yet. But I took everything I could apart and then put them back together. I became a mechanical engineer and worked for a subsidiary of Chevrolet in England. In 1978 I emigrated to the US. I went to work as an Engineer in the oil fields of Oklahoma. I'm still out here in Western Oklahoma, but these days, I'm a computer nerd. I design electronic devices. But my hobby and passion is fast cars. Most years I have upwards of ten to register with the D.O.M. The older cars don't cost much to register, mostly $25 each year. Classic car insurance is pretty cheap too. I can fully insure ten vehicles for about $700 a year. My big problem is storage and new projects. when I finish a car I'll drive it for a few months or a year. But then I'm engrossed in another car and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. I get great satisfaction taking an older Vettes and restoring it mechanically and cosmetically. This is not a business for profit, I do try to get money back to play with another car. But it's just fun messing about with cars. Contacting Me Drop me an Email James@ITLnet.net.
